1. Ownership of Hipopick and Hipobuy Content
Hipopick, Hipobuy, and their underlying technology, designs, branding, logos, user interfaces, software, workflows, editorial content, product curation, recommendation systems, and service materials are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Unless otherwise stated, all rights in Hipopick-created and Hipobuy-created content are owned by us, our affiliated entities, or our licensors.
You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, modify, scrape, sell, license, or create derivative works based on significant portions of Hipopick or Hipobuy content without prior written permission.
2. Product Images, Brand Names, and Merchant Content
Hipopick may display product images, product names, descriptions, specifications, prices, quality-check content, merchant names, brand names, logos, and other materials related to products or merchants.
Some of this content may come from Hipobuy systems, external merchants, product platforms, suppliers, manufacturers, brand owners, public product pages, or other third-party sources. These materials may remain the property of their respective owners.
Displaying third-party product or brand content on Hipopick does not mean that Hipopick owns that content, is endorsed by the brand owner, or has any exclusive relationship with the brand owner unless expressly stated.
3. Purpose of Use
Hipopick uses product and merchant content for product discovery, shopping facilitation, comparison, recommendation, quality-check presentation, order support, customer service, and after-sales support within the Hipobuy service ecosystem.
Our use of third-party product materials is intended to help users identify, evaluate, purchase, ship, and manage products. It is not intended to misrepresent ownership, create confusion, or imply unauthorized sponsorship.
4. User Permissions
You may use Hipopick for personal, non-commercial shopping and product discovery purposes in accordance with our Terms of Service.
You may not:
- Scrape, crawl, copy, or systematically extract product data, images, prices, recommendations, quality-check content, or merchant information
- Use Hipopick or Hipobuy branding in a way that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation without permission
- Reproduce or redistribute significant portions of our app, website, product feeds, design, text, or data
- Use our content to build competing services, train commercial datasets, or create unauthorized product databases
- Remove copyright, trademark, attribution, watermark, or proprietary notices
5. User-Submitted Materials
If you submit photos, product issue evidence, package images, reviews, messages, after-sales materials, or other content to Hipopick or Hipobuy, you grant us and the Hipobuy service entities a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, reproduce, display, transmit, translate, and process that content as necessary to provide the Service.
This includes use for customer support, order handling, returns, refunds, claims, seller communication, logistics claims, fraud prevention, service improvement, and legal compliance.
You represent that you have the right to submit the materials and that they do not violate the rights of others or applicable law.
6. Reporting Intellectual Property Concerns
Hipopick respects intellectual property rights. If you believe that content displayed on Hipopick infringes your copyright, trademark, or other rights, please contact us at support@hipopick.com with the subject line "IP Infringement Notice".
Please include:
- A description of the work, trademark, or right you believe has been infringed
- The URL, screenshot, product ID, or location where the content appears
- Your name, company, and contact information
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the rights owner
We may remove, disable, restrict, or update content where appropriate. We may also forward your notice to merchants, suppliers, platforms, or other relevant parties if needed to investigate the issue.
7. No Waiver of Rights
Nothing in this notice waives any rights, defenses, licenses, exceptions, or limitations available to Hipopick, Hipobuy, their affiliated entities, users, merchants, or third parties under applicable intellectual property laws.
8. Changes to This Notice
We may update this Intellectual Property Notice from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
